Tomas Matza is an Assistant Professor of Anthropology at the University of Pittsburgh where he specializes in medical and psychological anthropology, mental health, political economy and global health. He’s the author of Shock Therapy: Psychology, Precarity and Well-Being in Postsocialist Russia published by Duke University Press.
